Kyle Schoonbee has made Gauteng U/16 Skulling Championship, Doubles Championship and a silver medal in Gauteng U/16 Quads.

Joe Mitchell has been made the 1st XV Rugby Captain for 2012 at Giggleswick School, UK.

Ryan Thompson was this year’s recipient of the Chree Bright Award at Michaelhouse. This is the only award whereby the boys themselves vote for a winner. The award is granted in memory of Chree who tragically passed away in grade 9 and whose personal mantra was “Excellence in Everything.”

NEWS FROM HILTON COLLEGE (JUNE 2011)
Mark Burman was awarded Half Colours for Rugby.
Keith Chaplin has been selected for the U/18B KZN Inland Hockey Team.
Ismail Esat was awarded a Commendation in the 2nd Term.
Matthew Little was awarded a Commendation in the 2nd Term and selected for the U/14A Rugby Team.
Kyle Schoonbee achieved the top spot in the South Africa U16 Rowing Team and best sculling combination. He will be competing in the prestigious Holland Beker in Amsterdam in June.
Matthew Swan was awarded a Commendation in the 2nd Term.
Christian Wiessing was placed in the top 10% in the International Benchmarking Tests for English and Mathematics and was selected for the U/16A Rugby Team.
Armagh Cook was selected for the U/15A Cricket Team and the U/15A Rugby Team. He was awarded a Commendation in the 2nd Term.
Cameron Beetar was awarded a Commendation in the 2nd Term and selected for the U/15A Rugby Team.
James Bezuidenhout was selected for the KwaZulu-Natal Swimming Team.
Christian Rezek was selected for the U/14A Rugby Team.
Jonathan Smithers was selected for the U/15A Rugby Team and awarded a Commendation in the 2nd Term.
 
NEWS FROM ST ANDREW'S COLLEGE, GRAHAMSTOWN (OCTOBER 2011)
On 4 October a 41 year old St Andrew’s athletics record was broken by a Pridwin Old Boy. Sebastian Williams Wynn ran the 3000m in 8 min 46. 49 secs. The previous record (set in 1970) was held by G.S Levey (8 min 46.8 secs).
