CONDITIONS OF CONTRACT

The fees of the School are adjusted annually, to meet inflation and the needs of the School.
All fees and other charges are payable to and recoverable by Pridwin Foundation.
Each term’s fees and disbursements are payable in advance on or before the first day of the term or otherwise monthly if arranged with the School. The School will be entitled to charge interest on all overdue accounts at a rate of 5% above the prescribed rate laid down from time to time in the Prescribed Rate of Interest Act. Should the fees owing not be paid, the School shall be entitled to exclude the pupil and terminate this contract.
There shall be no entitlement to any rebate of fees if the pupil is absent for any portion of a term owing to illness or any other cause.
Once the pupil has entered the School a clear term’s notice in writing of his withdrawal must be given to the Headmaster. Likewise, if the School elects for any reason to terminate these arrangements, then it may do so on giving the parent a clear term’s written notice of its decision to terminate these arrangements at the end of the term in question.
The School reserves the right upon giving not less than one term’s notice to parent; to vary these conditions (including the fees, extra fees and deposit) from time to time in its entire discretion. The failure by the School to enforce any terms or conditions of the contract between the School and the parent shall not constitute a waiver of its rights.
The Headmaster may require a parent to withdraw a pupil with immediate effect in cases of serious or repeated misconduct or where, in his opinion, it is in the interest of the School or pupil or both.
The School will constantly endeavour to take such steps as may be reasonably required in the circumstances to do what it can to keep the pupil out of harm, and free of loss, taking into account the circumstances of each case. Nevertheless, in respect of events where the School itself or through one of its employees or a third party (for whom it may be found to be vicariously liable) may be determined to have fallen short of its obligations, both parents (and guardian, if applicable) jointly and severally indemnify the School against any claim of themselves and the pupil, subject to any statutory limitation that may be imposed from time to time.
